Topic: Can our relationship survive infidelity?

Being cheated on and struggling with the affair's aftermath has led be down the path of wanting to find out what factors help people recover. I am a Counseling Psychology Doctoral Student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City and for my dissertation research project I am studying the process of recovery from infidelity. I am passionate about this topic because of the personal affect infidelity has had on me and I want to add the empirical literature on infidelity. Would you consider filling out my disseration sruvey? I am hopeful this research will shed light on the factors that promote recovery from infidelity. Thank you sincerely for your consideration.

You are only eligible to participate if you are currently in a committed relationship and your romantic partner has had sexual intercourse with someone other than you during the course of your relationship. You must still be in the relationship where the infidelity took place, and the incident must have taken place at least 6 months ago. You must also be 18 years of age or older.
